Salinas Valley Horseless Carriage Club

The Salinas Valley Region HCCA recognizes the value of the automobile’s place in history and is dedicated to passing on that history to a new generation. We are a 501(C)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to the preservation, conservation, education, and touring of vehicles over 100 years old. We strive to be a source of historical information of these special vehicles for the benefit of the people in the Salinas Valley & beyond! It was 1937 when a group of enthusiasts in southern California, foreseeing the need for an organization dedicated to the preservation of automobile history and those early automobiles, formed The Horseless Carriage Club of America. The HCCA is now an international club with regional groups all over the world. All cars are “horseless carriages” but the national club is now dedicated to pre-1916 automobiles. Our local Salinas Valley Club was founded in the 1970’s to be a fun- loving, family-oriented club. Car ownership is not a requirement to have fun with this group. We just love driving, showing off our historic vehicles, and meeting wonderful people. We always have empty seats for extra passengers!
